libxvmc1-dbg software package provides X11 Video extension library (debug package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxvmc1-dbg
libxvmc1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxvmc1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxvmc1-dbg *
You will get with libxvmc1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
